Camping Car Hunting

Well it teamed and teamed rain today, so it was just as well we'd decided to go Camping Car Hunting and see what we could find. First we went up to Ittenheim to see what second hands are on offer. There's not many with 6 'carte grise' places and 6 sleeping berths. We saw one that we really liked, a 'Genesis 43'

We left there and went to lunch in Obernai. A lovely town, and then down to Benfeld to a 'porte ouvertes' in a camping car down there. Geraldine and Mathieu were fast asleep in the car after the lunch, so we went around with Sami and Gabi to see the camping cars. We'd a great time looking in them all. They'd none with a 'carte grise' ('carpe frites') of 6. Trace drove us home (we were all snoozing :-)).

Anyway, a post with no picture of the kids is no craic. Here they are in Tonton's traction that he's doing up. Tata is in the photo keeping an eye on them all. This has nothing to do with camping cars, but what the hell.

Not a camping car!
